With my wife and daughter by my side, my grandparents and mother looking on, I took the oath of office on Friday, January 2nd, 2015, to begin my service as Councilmember for Honolulu's 4th Council District. I'm extremely thankful and humbled at this opportunity to represent and serve the people of District 4.

My committee assignments are as follows:
Chair, Kapiolani Park Trust
Vice Chair, Committee on Zoning and Planning
Member: Committee on Budget; Committee on Business, Economic Development & Tourism; Committee on Public Health, Safety and Welfare; Committee on Public Works, Infrastructure and Sustainability; Committee on Legislative Matters
I'm certainly pleased at my committee assignments. Collectively, these assignments allow me to be an effective advocate on matters that will impact our district. From ensuring that your tax dollars are spent wisely to advocating for sustainable development, the people of District 4 are ensured of a voice at the table.
