Trevor grew up in Hawaii Kai and currently resides there with his wife, Nietzsche, and daughters Ava and London. Trevor is an attorney, specializing in civil litigation while Nietzsche serves as a Deputy Public Defender for the State of Hawaii.
Trevor is one of four kids from a working class family. Trevor’s late father was a chef and his mother worked at Aloha Airlines for 34 years before becoming a local small business owner. From an early age, Trevor's parents instilled the values of hard work, commitment, and responsibility. At the age of 15, Trevor got his first job at Waialae Country Club. Trevor practiced golf on days that he was not working and soon became an avid lover of the game.
Trevor attended Kamiloiki Elementary before attending Kamehameha Schools. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and thereafter received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School.
In addition to serving as the Budget Committee Chair of the Honolulu City Council, Trevor is the Vice Chair of the Committee on Zoning and Housing, and a member of the following committees: Executive Matters and Legal Affairs and Public Works, Infrastructure & Sustainability. Additionally, Trevor is a member of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii Board of Governors and the Democratic Municipal Officials.
